It is a pleasure to welcome you to the website of the Nishtar Medical University / Faculty of Medicine & Allied Medicine, where we hope this site will provide you with information about the college disciplines: Medical Imaging, Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Environmental Sciences and Technology, Prosthetics and Orthotics.
The college has witnessed since its inception great efforts in setting the framework and foundation for the evolution of this college. It was a joy and privilege to join the college as the new Dean. I look forward to both upholding and advancing the many successes that this college has maintained. This college will continue to evolve through developments at various departments of the college, attracting advanced scientific degrees, and providing PhD scholarships to uphold the highest standards of education. We are devoted to preserving a fertile environment for scientific research for our academic staff and students, and upgrading the quality of education to the highest degree of excellence.
The Faculty of the Medicine & Allied Medical Sciences is dedicated to equipping its departments with cutting edge technologies and laboratories including: X-ray laboratory, medical laboratory, Environmental Sciences and Technology laboratory, and we are currently in the process of opening a physical therapy center inside the university campus. This center will provide our students with extensive hands-on clinical experience, and translating and integrating theory into practice. Upgrading our college entails presenting the community with highly qualified leaders, critical thinkers and compassionate caregiver.
Our beloved students it’s time to free yourself from the passive traditional styles of learning witnessed at schools to transcend to a higher level of innovation in research based learning. You will be engaged in a proactive responsible role in attaining the highest standards of learning. We at the Faculty of the Allied Medical Sciences from faculty to administration to technicians are striving for your success.
